Defining Password Protection for the Menu

You can define a password to protect the application program settings “appl" and the device parameters “Setup" from unauthorized

changes. To do this, enter a password known only to authorized personnel. Without the password, only a few of the menu items can

be accessed (k key, Info, language).

Example: Enter, change or delete the password “ABC1".

e Turn on the Combics

While all segments are lit, press the ) key

Display for selecting the application APPL is shown

k k View device parameters setup

(Combics 2: Press k repeatedly until setup is displayed)

) Confirm Setup device parameters

Press repeatedly:

k Display the user password

(Press k repeatedly until CODE is displayed)
